Porcelain Doll Costume 2015

Porcelain Doll Costume 2015

I was a porcelain doll for Halloween 2015. The dress was made of old bedsheets; the blue frills came from the bed skirt. The pinafore was made with fabric from Creative Hideaway in Dorchester, Wisconsin. The frill on the pinafore is ribbon. I bought the shoes and socks secondhand and bought the wig on eBay. The bear sitting next to me was also a secondhand find.

"When I was six, I was___."

"When I was six, I was___."

When I was six, I was playing with the Elves. As a child, I was (and still am) a large fan of the fantasy genre. I enjoyed imagining I was playing with my faerie friends. This piece depicts my adventures as a rustic young girl. Medium: Colored Pencil

Goatpocalypse

Goatpocalypse

What if goats took over the world? Happy Halloween 2015! Partially inspired by the video game "Goat Simulator", this piece is a wackily morbid artwork, Medium: Acrylic Paints

Confidence!

Confidence!

Inspired by "Rosie the Riveter", Confidence! aspires to inspire those of our current day and age. Marked with acne, stretch marks, dyed hair, tattoos, and a little fat around the middle, Confidence! won't let anyone get her down because she knows she's beautiful. Medium: Acrylic Paint

A Helping Hand

A Helping Hand

This piece was completely improvised. As dumb as that may seem, I still find it to have a deeper meaning than I ever intended. Let us lend a helping hand, regardless of color, religion, or sex. Medium: Acrylic Paint

Delta-T

Delta-T

This is the front cover of my personal creation, Delta-T. Delta-T is a full-length, full-color comic book that depicts the first adventures of a comic convention-loving heroin with vasovagal syncope. This heroin's only superpower is that when she faints, her subconscious takes over in order to fulfill her heroic destiny.
